Profile

The Berlin-based gallery Camera Work was founded in 1997 and has since developed into one of the world's leading galleries for photographic art. Following the historically coined gallery name, the company has from the beginning followed the philosophy of representing and exhibiting young contemporary artists alongside the best-known artists in the history of photography, in order to manifest the position of photographic art as an independent genre within the fine arts.
