​In her new works, Gemma Solà Sotos employs familiar symbols to explore universal themes such as loss, hope, and transience. An empty chair may represent absence, while a swan symbolizes grace or transformation. Through these visual metaphors, emotional anchor points are created, enabling viewers to find their own stories and feelings reflected in the works.

The exhibition AURA at galerie probst in collaboration with ARTCO Gallery Berlin aims to bring Walter Benjamin's Essay The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction into a contemporary context through three different artistic positions, of photography, textile works and performance. The exhibition examines the field of tension between art, that cannot be reproduced and art, that does not exist without its mechanical reproduction.
