This exhibition, comprising works by young Asian female artists, showcases their recent pieces that reflect their rich and unique ways of thinking and aesthetic perspectives. Their artistic value lies not only in addressing gender issues and resistance but also in rediscovering, reinterpreting, and rewriting life. Through their materials, language, and identities, their works exude poeticism and strength, aiming to depict a different world - a symbiotic, collaborative, and more empathetic living environment and artistic atmosphere.

Fu Xiaodong currently resides in Beijing and Hangzhou, serving as both a curator and an artist. She also teaches at the China Academy of Art. As the editor-in-chief of Contemporary Art News in Taiwan, her personal creations bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary art, enriching aesthetic experiences. Fu combines her personal artwork with curation, leading numerous exhibitions worldwide and exploring new artistic realms. With international lectures at institutions like Columbia University and Centre Pompidou, her influence extends globally. In this MBS exhibition, she presents 40 pieces of her paper-based paintings, manuscripts, and installations from this year.
