Georg Nothelfer Gallery was opened in Berlin in 1971. It is one of the oldest galleries still active in the city. For 50 years, the gallery has taken a classical position in the ever-changing market, presenting Informel, Tachism and gestural painting, but also showing itself open to younger art that deals with the legacy of post-war abstract Expressionism.
