In his exhibitions, Vogel demonstrates his unique ability to react to spaces and create new spaces within them by expanding the medium of painting materially and installatively.

Turning the inside out, even if it is a hollow space, is considered a creative principle in Thomas Virnich's work. Childhood memories, popular culture and the modern entertainment industry merge to create their own realities. As a direct transfer of memories, multiperspectives and distorted impressions into the third dimension, Virnich's models function as mediators in the world, between inside and outside.

In his new works, Peter Böhnisch explores the possibilities of painting beyond oil and canvas. Using pigment, pastels, corundum and sand, he creates monumental paintings on fiberboard that evoke reliefs or frescoes. The materality of the pictures, also of his smaller portraits, thus contrasts with the lightness of the motifs: the enigmatic bodies of bathers, swimmers and astronauts.
