Upcoming

28.07. – 15.09. glass half full. Noah Becker. Painting. Repro glass half full, Noah Becker, Photo: Noah Becker

“Glass half full”, the title of the exhibition, testifies to optimism and optimism and new beginnings: it is about expressing something now, at this very to express. Something that you live. It's about directness and authenticity. It's about bringing your own colors of life into the picture. Becker is also a musician, and you can see that in his work. He likes jazz jazz, the relationship between call and response, the freedom. He likes the sound a ball makes when it hits a canvas with full force.

13.10. – 09.11. in contract. Danja Akulin. Painting

1977 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg/Russland) geboren. 2000 Umzug nach Berlin. 2000–2005 Studium der Freien Kunst an der UdK Berlin bei Prof. Georg Baselitz. 2005–2006 Meisterschüler an der UdK bei Prof. Daniel Richter. Seit 2007 freier Künstler in Berlin, mit Schwerpunkt Zeichnung. Seit 2002 Ausstellungen, seit 2007 europaweit sowie in Russland und den USA. 2017 Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Award.

11.11. – 04.12. Epochen und Spuren . Ibrahim Coskun. Painting

07.12. – 14.01.2025 Spaces Apes -A Digital Journey. Lichtinstallation.

The oscillation between real and unreal, the hidden but also the obvious, characterizes the series of Documenta Expo paintings. Territories are explored without orderly Hierarchies and try to unfold interfaces through this openness, in which a type of observation becomes possible that can navigate freely back and forth between the countless and very different elements so that each viewer can come to their own unique interpretation.

17.03. – 21.04. no doubt. Mikail Akar. Painting. Repro Anagola, MIKAIL AKAR , 2023, Acryl auf Leinwand, 80x100, Photo: Kerem Akar

His works have been on display in numerous major cities, galleries and exhibition places around the world. Mikail considers himself an artist of contemporary art. For 35 years, Stephan Hann has been concerned with the demise and survival of materials. Long before the appreciative view of people and materials had even reached the consciousness of many. Making light visually tangible is a groundbreaking factor in the works that can be seen in the Hotel Mond Fine Arts gallery in Berlin. His works increasingly move from the flat to the three-dimensional. They bulge forth from the wall, grow into the room. To do this, he works on the picture plane in its entirety, lends it structure and covers it with a complex, filigreed network of lines. The influences of Islamic architecture are unmistakable.

Björn Vogel has long been fascinated by patterns, symbols, markings and movements of all shapes and sizes. He explores the different origins and developments of our expressions; How these unfold and partly change. Basic forms, lines that often define structures, the directions, and dimensions in which the most diverse elements are presented. Impressions that we perceive that change in the movement, the scope of which shifts. Shapes that change depending on the angle, depending on the view.
