Pavlina Eusterhus

Pavlina Eusterhus is a trained stage and costume designer in musical theatre. Born in Sofia, she has been living in Berlin-Schmargendorf for several years. The awareness of a dual identity influences her view of the world and her work.

Pavlina is accustomed to perceiving the world around her in scenes and lighting conditions. The photographic gaze is an inseparable part of the search for visual expression to convey a universal message. She is able to view the world from two perspectives. This dual existence is also the connecting element in her photographs. Depending on the context and message, some of the photos have been edited on the computer, while others have been left in their authentic colours and perspective in which they were taken.
